How-To: Finding individual or a Group of Listings…
BETSI has an advanced filtering system that is very easy to use.
Up to 5 different types of filters can be applied to your shop listings: States, Sections, Categories, Tags and Materials. You can select for individual types or you can mix and match.
There are two different ways of filtering:
1. Inclusive – clear the selected filter items by clicking ‘None’ and then select the items to be included in the filtered results
2. Excluded – Select ‘All’ and then untick the items you don’t want in your filtered results
When filters are selected, the filter type header text turns Blue indicating that a filter is active. So it is quick and easy to see what filter types are applied.
To clear your filtering, at the bottom of the filters is a ‘Reset All Filters’ option.
Here are a couple examples of how you could use BETSI’s filtering to help manage your Listings.
1. Are all my Listings linked to Shop Sections?
When working with your Shop Sections in Etsy, deleting a section will disconnect Listings and become orphaned. Finding these Listings can be very difficult and time consuming.
In the Sections filter, we have also included ‘(unallocated)’. So with a single click you can check what Listings are not linked to a shop section.
2. Are all my Tags and Materials correctly set?
Without being able to see all your Tags and Materials in one place on Etsy, keeping Tags optimised, correctly spelt, etc… can be difficult. One has to resort to handwritten lists, spreadsheets, etc…
BETSI automatically tracks all this information for you. Quickly scrolling through the Tags & Materials filters, you can easily see where to optimise or correct spelling errors. Clicking on these Tags/Materials will show you exactly which Listings that need your attention.
